Art forgery gang detained

Police have arrested six people in Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona, 
and accused them of being behind the copying of numerous historic 
works of art. 

The investigation is still ongoing as art experts are currently at 
work discovering which works were falsified and which had been stolen 
and were genuine. 

The investigation started after some of the arrestees tried to sell 
what they claimed was a painting of King Felipe IV by Diego Velazquez 
(photo) for 900,000 euros.
