During the last couple of weeks the conference organizing committee has
received large numbers of registrations from all parts of the World, and in
addition the conference has received a great deal of attention from the
media. 

Deadlines
We wish to remind you all, that deadline for registration is Wednesday next
week, November the 15th, 2006. Paper deadline was November 1st. 

Many of you have during the last weeks e-mailed us with positive
expressions. We kindly ask you to additionally fill out the registration
form: http://www.natmus.gl/con2007/html/registration.html, as it will give
us a better overview.

The list of speakers is practically complete, but if you wish, we can put
you on the list in case any of the speakers are cancelling. 

Conference Fee
Conference Fee: 1000 DKK (around 90 GBP / 168 USD) The conference fee
includes conference material, lunch and tea/coffee/cake all 3 days of the
conference.  

Funding
We are glad to inform you that the Greenland National Museum & Archive is
able to offer a reduced conference fee (500 DKK instead of 1000 DKK) to
indigenous peoples, people from economically disadvantaged countries and
students. People seeking such support should contact us on:
mille.gabriel at natmus.dk. Unfortunately we are unable to give any financial
support regarding travel expenses and accommodation.
