Stolen art object returned to Hermitage

ST. PETERSBURG. Nov 12 (Interfax) - The thirtieth stolen art object was returned to the Hermitage over the weekend, the antiquarian department of the main department of internal affairs of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, told Interfax on Sunday.

An unknown person phoned the department, saying that he is a friend of a famous St. Petersburg antiquarian, who found an art object, the 78th on the list of art objects stolen from the Hermitage - the 'kungan vostochny' jar - in his collection.
