House raid after show
By Aidan Mcgurran Aidan.Mcgurran at Mgn.Co.Uk 09/08/2007
A £1MILLION home was burgled and a valuable painting stolen - days after
appearing on a TV property show.
The owners of the country house are convinced crooks got the idea after
seeing it on Channel 4's Location, Location, Location.
Thieves eyed up valuables as presenter Kirsty Allsopp showed round
prospective buyers, the unnamed victims believe.

The five-bedroom home in seven acres has a swimming pool and several
outbuildings.
It was seen on the show last week and the burglary happened on Saturday
evening.
Thieves got in a window and took a £2,000 oil painting of a horse. The
owners' daughter, 26, was at home, in Langenhoe, near Colchester, Essex, but
heard nothing.
Yesterday police said: "The family have their theory but it is too early to
say."
