Dear Cliff,

It is very difficult, if not impossible to know whether MSN has
actively contributed in changing the museums and collections security
scene. I am convinced that the past ten years the level of security
professionalism has increased substantially. The exchange of
information, especially information about threats must have played a
role. I would rather not say that MSN was of great importance but the
quick exchange of information thanks to the Internet opened many new
ways. MSN just made use of the options offered by the Internet.

It would be very interesting to read what our subscribers answer to
your question.

Best wishes,

Ton
