The Army Museum at Waiouru will reopen for the first time today after
millions of dollars worth of medals were stolen just over a week ago.


Around 100 medals were taken, including nine Victoria Crosses.


Police completed their scene examination yesterday and released the museum
back to the curator. They say their inquiry remains focussed on Waiouru.


A tapu was lifted at the museum yesterday morning.
