TRIPUNITHURA: The Anti-Temple Theft Squad formed by the Assistant Police
Commissioner Sethuraman and headed by Tripunithura Circle Inspector Bijo
Alexander arrested P.K. Antony, 39, son of Kurian, Puthenpurakkal Veedu,
Karimugal, from his rented house near Athirampuzha in Kottayam on Sunday.

It was reported that Antony had served jail terms in many cases. He had
stolen hundi and bronze vessels from Harimattam Mahavishnu temple,
Thannikkal Siva temple and Poothrukka Mahavishnu temple.

After getting information on his whereabouts, a police team comprising
Ambalamugal Sub Inspector Anil George, Head Constables Paulose, Jayan,
Madhu, Thilakraj and cops Josy, Suresh and Binu arrested him from his rented
accommodation.

Antony will be produced in court on Monday.
