Sculpture of Columbia Restaurant matriarch stolen again

Ybor City, Florida - Someone has once again stolen a bronze bust of
matriarch Adele Gonzmart from its place outside the Columbia Restaurant in
Ybor City. 

The bust  has been in front of the East 7th Avenue landmark since 2003. It
was stolen once before in December 2005, but was eventually returned a month
later.

This latest theft took place late Friday or early Saturday morning.

The Columbia Restaurant is offering a $2,500 reward for the return of
Adela's bronze bust. The reward is offered with no questions asked, for its
safe return

Richard Gonzmart, fourth-generation co-owner of Columbia Restaurant said, "I
don't care who stole the bronze bust of my mother, I just want it back."

Gonzmart said the $2,500 reward is in effect for 10 days.

"I'll forgive the person who did it," said Gonzmart, "I hope they will just
return it. They can just leave it at the front door and take off. I just
want it returned safely to our family," he said.

Anyone with information on the theft of the bust is asked to call Tampa
Police at 813-276-3200, or the Columbia Restaurant Corporate Office at
813-248-3000, ext. 22.
